Using this portal returns the player to their Respawn point. When entering a Vault, the player is teleported into a special room which contains a Vault Portal.
Each part is encased in Vaultrock, an unbreakable block like bedrock. "Super secret cakes" are Easter eggs that can be found in a Vault. At high difficulty, new types of mobs spawn. Vault difficulty manifests as mobs with better gear and weapons, higher health, dealing more damage, as well as "more difficult" mobs ( zombies and skeletons are considered easier, blazes and wither skeletons harder). The Vault difficulty increases greatly at level 25. The difficulty of the Vault depends on the Vault Level of the player: the difficulty increases at level 3, then every level. Mobs may spawn everywhere, disregarding the light level. Ender Chests, Ender Pouches, Wireless grids and other items from mods such as DimStorage are disabled in a Vault.
Items and players cannot be transferred out of the dimension. In a Vault, Natural Health Regeneration is disabled: a full hunger bar does not restore health (golden or any type of other apples are used to regenerate your health instead of a full hunger bar). Once the player is teleported to the random Vault that is generated, the portal is deactivated, Once the frame is built, it can then be activated by using a Vault Crystal (common, rare, epic or omega) on the frame.Ī player can stand in an activated portal to access a Vault. To create the portal, the player must build a rectangular Blackstone frame (4×5 minimum, 23×23 maximum). To access a Vault, the player must construct a Vault Portal.
